The 2017 Architectural Design Design Show and DIFFA's Dining by Design Show will take place March 16-19, 2017, Piers 92 and 94, New York City.
Over four hundred exhibitors will be featured at the AD Show, including individual artisans, international manufacturers of fine, innovative kitchen appliances, with culinary demonstrations and refined design elements including hardware, tabletop, flooring, bath fixtures, bedding, furniture, accessories, lighting , cabinetry, carpets, metalwork and more. Artists products featured include glasswork, custom woodworking, paintings, sculptures, textiles, photography, other decorative accessories and handmade chocolates.

KEYNOTE SUPERSTAR DESIGN: A CONVERSATION WITH AMY
ASTLEY AND MARTYN LAWRENCE BULLARD, Thursday, March 16th, 4-5 P.M.
Join Architectural Digest Editor in Chief Amy Astley and Los Angeles based
interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard for an intimate look at the
dynamics of creating homes for some of the world’s most high-profile

David Rockwell and Sandra de Ovando both transform environments.
Their work first intersected at Rockwell Group’s design for
New York’s Vandal restaurant when they discovered what they
shared in common: a passion to create immersive environments
lasting for hours or decades. In conversation, they will discuss
how they approach design in hospitality, how powerful ephemeral
moments can be, and how collaboration is critical to achieving
the very best in design.

PRESERVING THE SOUL OF A HOME: HISTORIC PLACES AND

A discussion on the synergy and collaboration between residential
and landscape design that honors history, tradition, and structure
as evident in the renovations and modernizations of the Cedric
Gibbons/Dolores Del Rio house in L.A., a 1940s Miami bungalow
renovation, and Maycroft, the 1885 Aldrich family estate in Sag
Harbor, New York.
